Farmers Market History
Herrcastle Farm has been selling our homegrown fruit and vegetables at farmers markets since 1994. We started out at a local outdoor farmers market in Quarryville, Pa. Shortly after we expanded into the Philadelphia and Washington D.C. areas. In 2001 we stopped going to Washington D.C. and continued to grow in the suburbs of Philadelphia at outdoor seasonal markets.
In 2013 we were presented an opportunity and went into a year round indoor farmers market in Wayne, PA. This allowed us to bring local products all year to the Philadelphia suburbs compared to 6 months out of the year that our outdoor markets were operating.
New for 2024 we will be opening a farm market here at the farm, just steps away from the roadside stand in the front of our old barn. There will be lots of new products, and plenty of the same products we have always sold, stop by and check us out!

Glenside Farmers Market
Since 2002 Herrcastle Farm has provided farm fresh fruit and vegetables weekly at the Glenside Farmers Market. This outdoor seasonal Farmers Market runs May through November every Saturday rain or shine.
